Roof Repair Smedway handles Roof Replacement projects across Johnstown from full tear-off through final inspection, with a written scope you approve before anything is torn down.
We walk Johnstown homeowners through material options, tear-off scope, and timeline before a single shingle comes off, so there are no surprises mid-project.
Every Roof Replacement includes a pre-project walkthrough so there are no surprises once tear-off actually begins.
Documentation provided before the first tear-off day, not after you ask.
Local Johnstown crews mean your Roof Replacement start date isn't pushed out for weeks.
Material and labor costs are broken out separately in every Roof Replacement estimate.
We explain the tradeoffs of each material option in terms that actually matter to you.
A complete Roof Replacement covers more than swapping shingles — here's what's actually included.
Old roofing is stripped down to the decking, with any rotted or damaged boards replaced before rebuilding.
A proper underlayment system is the difference between a roof that sheds water and one that traps it.
We offer a range of shingle grades so Johnstown homeowners can match budget to durability.
Metal replacement costs more upfront but often outlasts asphalt by decades in the right climate.
Poor attic ventilation shortens the life of a new roof, so we assess and upgrade it as part of most Roof Replacement jobs.
All old shingles, underlayment, and debris are hauled away as part of the Roof Replacement scope, not left for you to deal with.
We start with a conversation about your roof's age, material preferences, and timeline.
A crew lead inspects your Johnstown roof in person and measures the full scope of work.
You get a full written estimate covering materials, labor, and disposal before any tear-off is scheduled.
A final walkthrough confirms the finished roof matches the agreed scope before we consider the job done.
